How to use
this page
Choosing a brand studio is a significant decision, and most of the questions behind it are the same from one business to the next.
We have grouped the answers by topic: the studio itself, brand strategy, websites and search, content and design, and the practical side of working together. If your question is about a specific service, the dedicated page for brand strategy, digital technology, content production or content writing and design goes into more depth. If it is about how a project unfolds, our seven-step process shows each stage.
Where an answer depends on the scope of your project, such as timelines and cost, we say so plainly. We would rather give you an honest range after a conversation than a number that ignores your situation.

The studio
Greydot is an independent brand studio based in Wakad, Pune. We bring brand strategy, website design and development, content production, and content writing and design together in one team, so a business gets a single consistent brand rather than four disconnected deliverables. We work with startups, SMEs and established companies across India.
A traditional agency usually owns one slice of the work: the logo, the campaign or the website. We start from the business problem and work outward. Strategy decides the message, design and technology express it, and content carries it to the market. Because one studio does all four, nothing is lost in hand-offs between vendors.
The studio is at Chaudhari Park in Wakad, Pune, and we meet local clients in person. We also work with businesses across India through video calls, shared review boards and a structured project workflow, so location rarely affects the quality or the speed of the work.
Startups, SMEs, manufacturers, technology and IT companies, healthcare and wellness brands, education, real estate, hospitality, food and beverage, retail, e-commerce, financial services and professional-service firms. Every engagement is tailored to the industry, the audience and the commercial goal. See how we approach each sector.

Brand strategy
Strategy gives every later decision a reference point: what you stand for, who you serve and why you are the better choice. Without it, design and marketing become guesswork and every new asset starts a new argument. With it, positioning is sharper, messaging is consistent and marketing spend works harder.
Depending on the brief: discovery workshops, market and competitor research, customer personas, positioning, brand architecture, purpose, vision and values, messaging and voice, naming support, brand guidelines and a practical implementation roadmap. The full scope is on our brand strategy page.
Yes. For early-stage companies we focus on the essentials that unlock growth: a clear positioning statement, a credible identity, a launch-ready website and an investor-grade pitch deck. We keep the scope lean and the foundations strong so the brand can scale without a rebuild.
Yes. A rebrand can range from refining messaging and refreshing the identity to repositioning the entire business. We begin with an audit of what already works, protect the equity worth keeping, and plan the rollout across the website, collateral and channels so the change feels deliberate rather than disruptive.

Websites and search
Yes. We handle strategy, UI and UX design, development, testing, launch and ongoing support for corporate sites, portfolio sites, e-commerce stores and landing pages. Everything is designed mobile-first and built for speed and accessibility. See our digital technology services.
Yes, at the foundation level: clean URLs, semantic headings, fast load times, responsive layouts, structured data, XML sitemaps and crawlable internal linking are built in. No studio can honestly promise a ranking, but we make sure the site gives search engines every chance to understand and index your content.
Yes. We audit the current site, map every existing URL to its new home with permanent redirects, keep the content that already performs and fix what does not. The goal is a better-looking, better-performing site that keeps the visibility you have already earned.
Yes. We offer ongoing support covering security updates, technical maintenance, performance checks, content updates, bug fixes and incremental improvements, so the site stays fast, secure and current after launch.

Content and design
Brand films, corporate videos, product videos, commercial and product photography, social media content, motion graphics, animation, event coverage and marketing videos, along with the written and designed material that supports them. Explore content production.
Yes: concept, scriptwriting, storyboarding, production planning, filming, editing, colour grading, motion graphics and final delivery in the formats each platform needs. You review at defined stages rather than at the very end.
Yes. We create platform-specific content for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and paid channels, designed around a consistent brand look and voice rather than one-off posts that do not add up.
Yes. We write website copy, service pages, industry pages, blog articles, product descriptions, landing pages and thought-leadership pieces. Each piece is researched around real search intent, written for people first and structured so search engines can interpret it. See content writing and design.

Working together
We follow seven steps: discover, define, explore, create, refine, deliver and grow. Each step has clear outputs and a review point so you always know where the project stands. Read the full process.
It depends on scope and complexity. A focused branding project can take several weeks, while a website build, a film or a multi-channel programme needs longer. After the first consultation we share a realistic timeline with milestones rather than a vague estimate.
Involved where it matters. You join discovery conversations, strategy reviews, creative presentations and feedback sessions, and you give final approvals. Between those points the studio carries the work forward without asking for your time.
Every project is scoped around goals, complexity and timeline, so we do not publish generic packages. Share your brief and we will respond with a clear proposal and estimate. Services can be bought individually or combined, whichever suits the business.
Yes. Some clients need only a brand strategy, others a website, a film or a pitch deck, and many want a complete brand transformation. We shape the engagement around what the business actually needs.
A strong brand compounds. It builds trust, improves recall, supports premium pricing, makes sales conversations easier, helps attract talent and gives every future marketing rupee a stronger base. It is a business foundation, not decoration.
Send a short note through the contact page or email connect@greydot.co.in with the business, the goal and the timeline. We will reply within one working day to arrange a conversation.

we didn’t cover?
Ask us directly. A real person at the studio will reply within one working day.
You can write to connect@greydot.co.in, call +91 8530 100 606 during studio hours (Mon – Sat, 9:00 – 18:00 IST), or use the contact form to tell us about the project. The more context you share about the business, the audience and the timeline, the more useful our first reply will be.
If you are still at the research stage, the Greydot journal covers positioning, conversion, technical SEO, pitch decks and visual storytelling in far more detail than a FAQ can, and is a good way to get a sense of how we think.
